Things to come...

As you may or may not know, Britt and I have been together for 9 months now, woohoo! Her family has invited over to her home state on Minnesota for a family reunion that will be happening over the summer. I’ll go from not knowing anybody in her family, to knowing even her cousin cousin’s cousin… I fly out to MN this Saturday July 12th , coming back on Monday July 21st. Hopefully things will go smoothly, as I consider myself quite the charmer (my dimples really help in that department)… and if thinks start going sour, I’ll pretend not to speak any English and start doing the garden or cleaning the cars or something… I have only seen Britt mingle with people here in Guatemala, and I really look forward to see how she interacts around her family and more familiar surroundings…

This should be a really fun trip, as I’ll be meeting the family and trying to impress them / doing a little bonding, some shopping, and catching a Twins game at the Metrodump with Jud… Also in the plan, an outing to P.F. Chang’s and a lot of ale beers… oh yeah! By the way, already ordered some stuff through Amazon: Darjeeling Limited CD, new Gavin Degraw CD, and Charlie Wilson's War DVD...

Besides that, work is beyond busy, as I just finished organizing a regional workshop, with attendees form all over Central America… all the logistics & small details that go in organizing one of these events is quite time consuming and somewhat frustrating (time changes, crazy requests, etc…). Good thing was it was in Antigua, so I didn’t have to commute to the city everyday…

Saludos a todos…

Abrazos,
CRCP

P.S. Speaking of summer and the beach, another Late Show Top Ten…

  • Hello Carlos!

I havn't spoke to you in forever. I lost your email address and blog address when I moved a couple years ago. I was able to find your blog site, however I don't have your email address. It looks like you are doing well. I am still in the same job and we just moved into our new house. My email address is the first initial of my first name and my full last name @msn.com
